Free VDOT running pace calculator. Enter any race time to get Easy, Tempo, Threshold, and Interval training zones. Includes Yasso 800s, race predictor for 5K to marathon, and printable pace charts.
Paces come from the Daniels & Gilbert running formula: your race result is converted to a VDOT fitness score, and each training zone is a fixed percentage of the velocity that VDOT sustains. The tables below are generated from that same formula, so they are usable directly — the interactive calculator only adds your exact race result, unit preference, heart-rate zones, and hot-weather adjustments.
